About her : She has completed her Masters Degree in Statistics from Karnatak University. She has qualified National Eligibility Test for lectureship in 1992. Later on she pursued M.Phil. in Statistics from Karnataka University under the guidance of Dr.I.D. Shetty. She has completed her Ph.D. in Statistical Reliability from Bangalore University under the guidance of Dr. Parameshwar V. Pandit, Professor in the Department of Statistics. Title of the thesis is “Some contributions to estimation of reliability and tests for nonparametric classes of ageing”.

Work Experience :

She is currently working as a Professor in the department of Science and Humanities and Registrar of Don Bosco College of Engineering. She is working in Don Bosco College of Engineering since January 2017. She has more than 30 years of teaching experience

  • In June 2015, I attended seminar on “The role of Statistical Tools in Data Analysis of Research Projects and Thesis” at P.V.K. N. Govt. College, Chittoor and presented a paper entitled “Reliability Estimation of Standby System with mixture of Distributions- Exponential case”.
  • In February 2015, I attended seminar on “Applications of Statistics in Research, Planning and Industry” at Mount Carmel College, Bengaluru and presented a paper entitled “Reliability of Standby System with mixture of two Exponential Distributions.
  • In February 2017, I attended seminar on “Statistical Inference and Stochastic Modelling” at Karnatak University, Dharwad and presented a paper entitled “ System Reliability Estimation in multicomponent stress strength Models-Mixture of two Exponential”.
  • In December 2016, Resource person for the training program for Lecturer of Mathematics conducted in Adarsh PU College, Bengaluru in association with Deputy Director of Pre University Education Board, Bengaluru South and Principals’ Association, Bengaluru South, Bengaluru

  • In February 2018, I attended workshop on “ Nuclear Technology: Scripting National Development” organized by Media Relations and Public Awareness Section, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre Mumbai, held at Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda, Goa.
  • In June 2018, successfully completed “ Faculty Development Program for student Induction (FDP-SI) ” held at Tatyasaheb Kore Institute of Engineering & Technology, Kolhapur organised by AICTE
